This January, start your New Year’s health goals off with a new-to-you workout wardrobe at Localworks’ first Live Local event of the year.
Localworks and SPENGA Wheat Ridge are teaming up to bring you another exciting Live Local clothing swap! Join us on Tuesday, January 20 from 4:00–7:00 PM at SPENGA’s beautiful studio located at 5305 W 38th Ave Suite E, Wheat Ridge, CO 80212 for an athletic clothing swap and other local wellness vendors.
How it works:
Now through January 16, 2026 SPENGA Wheat Ridge will be accepting adult or teen-sized, gently-used athletic clothing donations. This swap differs from our previous swap, as it is exclusively for athletic clothes. Think leggings, yoga pants, sports bras, tank tops, or shorts. Then, on January 20, the day of the event, we invite you to come back and browse the swap to pick out a few new-to-you items. It’s a simple, sustainable way to refresh your workout wardrobe without spending a dime.
Your forgotten favorites could be someone else’s new go-to. While it’s not required to donate in order to participate, it’s highly encouraged to help keep the swap well-stocked. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local organization supporting those in need.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! This Live Local will also feature a few select local wellness vendors. This is also a great opportunity to meet the team at SPENGA, who will be sharing information on how the SPENGA studio works, and even which clothing items would be great to wear to class! Beverages will be provided. This is a come-and-go event.

Localworks and SPENGA are partnering up for a January Live Local that’s all about community, health and sustainability. The centerpiece of the event is an athletic clothing swap and a chance to trade your gently-used workout clothes for something new-to-you.
From now through January 16, bring your adult or teen sized clothing donations to SPENGA (5305 W 38th Ave Suite E, Wheat Ridge, CO 80212). Their team will sort everything by size and style so it’s ready to browse on event day. New year, new you! Those pieces collecting dust in your closet could become someone else’s favorite find.
You don’t have to donate in order to participate, but it’s encouraged to help keep the swap full.
