March 10: Book Club at Edgewater Books, 5:30-6:30 p.m. 5505 W 20th ave, Each month, the folks at locally-owned Edgewater Books host a book club that’s open to all. Attendees discuss a particular book or author and enjoy an informal gathering of people who appreciate books. For the March meeting of Edgewater Books’ book club, the group will discuss 1984 by George Orwell.
March 13: Regenerate Wheat Ridge: Seed Starting, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., Recreation Center Event Room 4005 Kipling Street. This workshop will help you understand the supplies you need and cover a variety of methods so you can start your own seeds at home. This workshop is led by Wheat Ridge’s seed steward and Manager of Labrador Farm, Kathleen Martell. Registration required.

March 20: Mountain View Mayor community office hours, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 5461 W. 41st Ave. Join Mayor Mitcham for Community Office Hours on the third Wednesday of every month. Come for a coffee and pastry, to hear about what’s happening at Town Hall, and to share your thoughts and ideas. Her reports to Council each month include feedback from these gatherings.
March 21: Live Local with 3rd Shot Pickleball, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., 3rd Shot Pickleball, 3545 Wadsworth Blvd Wheat Ridge, Join Localworks and 3rd Shot Pickleball for an evening of pickleball fun at the March Live Local event. Free, but registration is required. No prior pickleball experience is necessary, as an introductory pickleball course will be included in the event for those unfamiliar with the sport. The event will also feature tournament-style organized games. Additionally, a free beverage will be provided for the first 40 registrants. March 28: Active Minds Series – Women of Denver History, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Edgewater Library 1800 Harlan St. Join Active Minds as we focus on the women of Denver and their contributions to the city and the state. We will cover some familiar names as well as some lesser-known figures as we trace the impact of these women and their place in history.
March 29: Teen Night: Egg Hunt in the Dark, 7:30-10 p.m., Anderson Building, 4355 Field St.
Ages 14-17 (or 18 still attending high school) are invited to hang out with their friends and enjoy music, dinner, snacks, a game room, and themed activities at Teen Night. Free, no registration required.
March 30: Spring Fling, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Town Hall 4176 Benton St. Join the Town of Mountain View for a community celebration of Spring. An egg hunt, arts & crafts, fun outdoor games for the whole family will be offered.
March 1-31: “A Fine Print” exhibit, 40 West Arts Hub, 6501 W. Colfax Ave To coincide with Denver’s Mo’Print (Month of Printmaking), Lakewood Arts will be exhibiting “A Fine Print” in March, 2024. Artists must utilize a form of traditional hand printed media such as monoprint, lithography, screenprint etc. Also on display will be art from Wendi Richardson.
