How The West Was Won Fashion Show

As the owner of Anteak Booteek and manager of our upcoming fashion show, I can say with certainty that vintage western wear will always be a favorite especially here in the Wild West of Colorado. There’s something about fringe, denim, leather, and a well-worn pair of boots that feels right at home against our big skies and mountain backdrop. Western wear is wonderfully versatile. It can be bold and dramatic or subtle and refined. Add a handkerchief, a classic bolo tie, or a colorful pair of boots, and suddenly any outfit carries that unmistakable Western spirit.

That’s why I’m beyond thrilled to present How The West Was Worn, a runway celebration of western fashion through the decades. From prairie inspired silhouettes to rhinestone studded glamour, to futuristic steam punk vibes, we’ll showcase how each era has reimagined frontier style while keeping its rugged charm intact. The show is presented in conjunction with Atomic Theatre’s production of “Defiance,” a Doc Holliday story, creating a perfect blend of fashion and folklore.

Join us this Mother’s Day at The Green on 38th in Wheat Ridge for an evening that honors style, storytelling, and community. There’s something special about gathering together to appreciate local theater while celebrating the enduring influence of western design. I’m looking forward to spending the evening in the throes of fashion, creativity, and connection sharing the timeless magic of the West with all of you.
