Explain your job: Bridge Teacher. I teach the game of Bridge at the Active Adult Center. I have 6 stages of lessons that each run for 10 weeks. I teach these in the fall, spring, and summer. I have worked at the city for a long time, and everyone I have encountered has been helpful and kind. It is a great place to work and be!
How long have you worked for the city? 36 years.
Favorite pastime: Bridge! No doubt about it.
Favorite superhero: I had the fortune of being the child of two very marvelous people, so I would have to say my parents, Max (nickname Duke) Sorin and Rose Sorin. And my older sister, Geraldein (Jerry), who was my very best friend. I consider them my superheros!
I have two sons, Steve lives in California with his wife Cindy, and Mike lives in Westminster. I have 2 grandsons, and 5 great grandkids! As hard as the last few of years have been with the passing of my husband William who went by Bill, and my sister, it has been the kindness and support of my friends and family that have kept me going.
