Localworks is bringing back a community favorite event: Bar Stool Bingo! Mark your calendars for December 5th, 2023 from 6:00-8:30 p.m at Esters (10151 W 26th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80215). This Colorado Gives Day is easily the best day to give!
Why donate to Localworks? Localworks mission is to make Wheat Ridge a more vibrant and sustainable place to live and work. What does this really mean? It means connection. Localworks is the connection from residents to businesses in the community. Localworks is connection to cleaner and revitalized neighborhoods. Localworks is connection to neighbors. Localworks is connection to innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity through Clear Creek Makerspace (CCM). Launching in early 2024, CCM is a 7,500 sqft community workshop powered by Localworks. CCM offers a growing, comprehensive offering of tools, equipment, and resources. Woodworking, crafting, metalwork, advanced prototyping, and much more are all possible at CCM.
Localworks’ mission allows residents and businesses to not just call Wheat Ridge a place to live and work, but aims to allow everyone to call Wheat Ridge home.

Shop Wadsworth to continue through December 10th
Localworks wants to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been shopping along the Wadsworth corridor over the past month. We’ve already received some entries, but there’s still plenty of time to begin and even complete our Shop Wadsworth checklist and be entered to win prizes. This campaign will continue through December 10th. The winners of the giveaway will be announced on December 12th. You don’t have to be a Wheat Ridge resident to participate! We highly encourage those in the surrounding areas to come to Wadsworth and shop as well.
If this is the first time you’re hearing of this campaign, here’s what you need to know: Localworks, in partnership with the City of Wheat Ridge, has launched a campaign to get YOU on the corridor to support businesses as the Wadsworth Improvement project continues. It’s time to revisit your favorite local spots — when you shop local, you can win local! We are giving away FIVE $1,000 CASH PRIZES and FIVE year ONE YEAR memberships to 3rd Shot Pickleball.
To be entered, you must complete our Wadsworth “Passport.” There are THREE different categories assigned to the businesses along the corridor. Category 1 is restaurants, category 2 is retail and category 3 is miscellaneous goods and services. Each category has a task that needs to be completed in order to be considered for giveaway prizes provided by the City of Wheat Ridge. Proof of participation is required.
