The East Jefferson County Sanitation District will be replacing sections of sanitary sewer generally in the area between W. 17th Ave. and W. 19th Ave. and from Depew St. to Harlan St. See map below for approximate work locations.
Crews recently began potholing to locate underground utilities ahead of construction. Full construction is expected to begin in late March and will move through the area in phases as crews replace aging sewer pipe, install new manholes, and complete pavement and landscape restoration.
Residents may see construction equipment, traffic control, and temporary daytime road closures as work progresses. Access will be maintained where possible, and roads may reopen in the evenings after daily work is complete.
