Apple Cider Day Festival

October 12 – 10AM to 2PM

It’s time to pick your apples, gather some clean containers and head over to the Wheat Ridge Historical Park (4610 Robb) for the annual Apple Cider Day Festival. The line starts to form early at the apple press where the apples bounce around in the hopper until they’re squashed, then pressed to extract the cider, which then runs directly into clean containers, satisfying and delicious. Don’t have an apple tree? Don’t worry! We have plenty of donated apples; just bring your containers.

While there, stop by the other stations at the park to observe old fashioned apple peeling and sauce making, complete with samples. Watch the kids play turn of the century lawn games and listen to some live bluegrass music while enjoying a snack from one of the food trucks. No better way to celebrate fall.
