Last September, just as the sun spilled over the mountains, more than 70 players settled into their golf carts, eager for a day of competitive play. United by a common cause, everyone came together to contribute to Localworks’ fundraising goals to ensure that all of our programming remains free and accessible to all Wheat Ridge residents.
In 2023, we saw some exceptional play, highlighted by two players sinking a hole-in-one, and surpassing our fundraising goal by raising more than $12,000. We set the “par” high — now let’s do it again!
Join us September 19th, 2024 at Applewood Golf Course for our second-annual golf tournament and fundraiser. The proceeds raised during this event will be used to support our City Improvement and TLC Wheat Ridge programing including: dumpster grants and clean up days, block party grants, as well as ten individual year-long membership scholarships to Clear Creek Makerspace.
TLC Wheat Ridge is the joint effort of Localworks and the Wheat Ridge Police Department. The goal of this program is to bring neighbors together to keep our city clean and safe.
