Saturday, Sept. 16, Localworks will host the final TLC Neighborhood Clean-up Day of the 2023 summer season. Please join us at Saint James Episcopal Church, located at 8235 W. 44th Ave. This event will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until noon, or until the dumpsters are full.
Localworks has a commitment to advance Wheat Ridge forward as a vibrant and sustainable place to live and work. As a part of our commitment to sustainability, we make sure to offer specific landscaping and recycling dumpsters to assure that your trash goes to the right place.
If you have not yet attended a TLC Clean-up Day, you can expect this church’s parking lot to be full of multiple, full-sized dumpsters! You can dump any solid, nonhazardous waste, yard debris, furniture and general trash. Recyclable items include any aluminum and tin cans, solid Styrofoam, newspaper, magazines, plastic tubs, empty aerosol cans and more. As for yard waste, we accept leaves and branches that are under four inches in diameter. We cannot accept dirt, stumps, rocks or fertilizers at this time. We also are not accepting electronics at this time.
For a full list of what we can and cannot accept please visit our community calendar at www.wearelocalworks.org/events and select September 16th. Any additional questions regarding TLC Clean-up Days can be directed to reception@wearelocalworks.org.
TLC Wheat Ridge is a joint effort between Localworks and the Wheat Ridge Police Department. The goal of this program is to bring neighbors together to strengthen the community and keep our city clean and safe. All TLC Clean-up Days are completely free to Wheat Ridge residents. We encourage, if you are able, a $10 donation. If every car gave a $10 donation at this event, it would cover an extra 1,100 cubic yards of waste to keep our community cleaner.
We look forward to seeing you! Thank you for committing to making Wheat Ridge a cleaner and safer place to live and work.
