Localworks is bringing back its Business Block Party series to 38th Avenue on Saturday, June 14, from 2 to 6 p.m., with an afternoon packed full of live music, hands-on activities, local vendors and plenty of reasons to stick around through the evening. The event will take place outside Wheat Ridge Lanes at 6595 W. 38th Ave. From shoppers and snackers to thrill seekers willing to test their balance on an inflatable mechanical bull, this day promises something for every kind of neighbor.

Now in its third year, Localworks’ Business Block Party series rotates through different Wheat Ridge corridors. This year’s location was choseBy community vote, putting 38th Avenue in the spotlight.

Steve and the Cruisers will provide the soundtrack for the day, while Mestizo Brew Cantina and Wheat Ridge Lanes serve up drinks. Food will be available for purchase from the Wheat Ridge Lanes’ kitchen, and more than a dozen local businesses will be on-site with vendor booths and mobile shops, offering everything from handcrafted goods to one-of-a-kind finds. The event will also include a community resource fair featuring local organizations, including this event’s title sponsor, Intermountain Health | Lutheran Medical Center.

Localworks encourages attendees to explore the full length of 38th Avenue before or after the event: shops, restaurants and service providers along the corridor will be open and ready to welcome visitors. During the block party, you can pick up an exclusive coupon that will give you access to deals all weekend long.

No registration is required, and admission is free. For more information, visit wearelocalworks.org/events.
