Leave Your Legacy on Clear Creek Makerspace this July!

Adison Wash is Localworks’ Marketing and Community Relations Associate.

Join us in bringing the exterior of Clear Creek Makerspace to life! This July, seize the opportunity to make your mark with our community paint-by-numbers mural! Localworks invites you to join us on July 13 and July 27 for two exciting events where you can paint a section of the mural and leave your lasting legacy on Clear Creek Makerspace.

Clear Creek Makerspace aims to foster a culture of inclusion and accessibility, and this mural is a step toward that goal. To get involved, simply attend a paint event and be ready to lend a hand! While financial contributions are not required, Localworks encourages greater involvement if you’re able. Our programs, including the Clear Creek Makerspace, rely on community contributions. You can support the mural project by choosing from our various giving levels: become a Brush Buddy with a $25 donation, a Creative Comrade with a $100 contribution, or an Impactful Innovator with a $250 gift. For more information about the donation levels, or to register for an event, please visit www.wearelocalworks.org/events.

We aim to raise $10,000 throughout this project, supporting both the creation of the mural and five sponsored memberships for Clear Creek Makerspace.

If you have questions about any of the donor levels, please contact Localworks Executive Director Paige, at ppiper@wearelocalworks.org.

More information about sponsored memberships:
Clear Creek Makerspace will offer a scholarship program, through our educational arm, Growing U. Scholarships are available for anyone to apply for. The goal of the scholarship program is to break down barriers many underserved populations experience, enabling individuals to enhance their vocational and trade skills, paving the way for a more promising career path in the future.

More information about paint by numbers events:

Community members are invited to join us for a once-in-a lifetime opportunity, leaving your legacy in Wheat Ridge and on Clear Creek Makerspace, at our paint by numbers mural events. During the event you will have the opportunity to paint a small section of the mural on the building. Please be aware of the following limitations:

Community members will not be permitted to paint any part of the mural that requires a ladder.

All paint and supplies will be provided by Localworks. Community members will not be permitted to use their own paint or paint supplies.

Unless you have been permitted to reserve a paint time through a donor level, painting will take place on a first come first serve basis.

This event is rain or shine, unless the weather is severe enough to impact the creation of the mural or safety of the participants. Please register for each event individually. To register for your preferred event(s), please visit wearelocalworks.org/events.
