Forget happy hour – it’s time to talk housing! Localworks, in collaboration with the City of Wheat Ridge and the Jeffco Advocacy Network, is thrilled to invite you to a special event aimed at fostering dialogue and understanding around the pressing issue of affordable housing in our community.

Scheduled for Thursday, April 4th, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., at Stylus and Crate, this unique gathering promises to be an evening of cocktails, coffee, and crucial conversation about affordable housing.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in informative presentations at two different times, 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., covering essential topics such as what affordable housing entails, who qualifies for it, and its significance within Wheat Ridge. Additionally, insight into the community’s housing strategy and the anticipated impact of adding affordable housing options will be shared.

Following the presentations, participants will have the chance to connect directly with City officials and representatives from the Jeffco Advocacy Network. This interaction offers a valuable opportunity to pose questions, share perspectives, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding affordable housing in Wheat Ridge.
