February is the month of love, so this month’s Live Local has been temporarily renamed to the seasonally appropriate Love Local! Join Localworks on Feb. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at one of Wheat Ridge’s new favorite spots at Gold’s Marketplace, Ester’s.
Love Local is the perfect event to get you connected to your neighbors and introduce you to a new Wheat Ridge business while giving you the opportunity to make a custom gift basket just in time for Valentine’s Day. Two of Wheat Ridge’s beloved businesses that offer year-round holiday or “just because” shopping, All Seasons Holiday Market and XO Gifts, will have pop-up stations with supplies that may be the perfect addition to your Valentine’s Day gift basket. Some locally sourced items that will be available include soaps, lotions, bath fizzies, CBD bombs, paper roses, candles and caramels. This evening will also be a great opportunity to learn more about Ester’s while giving you participants plenty of time to make the customized gift you have been looking to give this Valentine’s Day. Localworks, in pursuit of our mission to make Wheat Ridge a more vibrant and sustainable place to live and work, will provide each pre-registered attendee one beverage and a $15 voucher to help fill your basket with locally sourced goodies! Love Local will also feature a valentine station for kids! We encourage you to bring the whole family to this community event.
