A Historic Colorado Gives Day for Localworks

Wheat Ridge, you’ve outdone yourselves. Thanks to your remarkable generosity, this year’s Colorado Gives Day campaign not only met but far surpassed our $10,000 goal, raising an incredible $13,939. This marks the most successful campaign in Localworks’ history—and it’s all thanks to you.

As Localworks Executive Director Paige shared, “Three years ago, we had this goofy idea to try and play this unique game of chance, and now we are celebrating the most historic Colorado Gives Day in our organization’s history. Only in Wheat Ridge would we receive this kind of support, and we couldn’t be more humble or grateful.”

The success of this year’s campaign would not have been possible without the generosity of our event sponsor Bob Doubois, who provided a $2,000 match, Guy Nahmiach, who sponsored and hosted our lively Bar Stool Bingo event, and Wheat Ridge TV 8 for their AV assistance and for live streaming the event.

To everyone who made online contributions, attended our event, or simply cheered us on from home: thank you! Your support will have a direct and lasting impact on Localworks and Clear Creek Makerspace, ensuring we can continue to provide innovative programming and essential resources for our community.

We are honored to be part of such an extraordinary community. Wheat Ridge, you continue to inspire us every day!
