Enjoy your Carnation Festival celebration with chrome, horsepower, and hometown fun at the Big Wheels on the Farm Car Show on Sunday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Anderson Park. One of the festival’s signature attractions, the show combines outstanding vehicles, live entertainment, food vendors, and family fun in the heart of Wheat Ridge. This year’s event has an added purpose. Proceeds from the car show will benefit the Wheat Ridge High School National Honor Society and Cheer Team, helping support student leadership, service projects, academic achievement, and school spirit.
Vehicle owners are invited to enter everything from beautifully restored classics and muscle cars to hot rods, trucks, imports, customs, and modern performance vehicles. Every vehicle has a story, and Big Wheels on the Farm offers owners the opportunity to share their passion with thousands of visitors enjoying the Carnation Festival. Handcrafted trophies, created by Warren Tech students, make winning even more special. Vehicle pre-registration closes on August 6, 5 p.m. Day-of-show car registration opens at 6 a.m. at Anderson Park on Sunday. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to complete registration and position their vehicles before spectators begin arriving.
