Guy:
Thank you so much for your excellent article on public education, Revolving Doors in Colorado Education, in the June 2026 edition of the Neighborhood Gazette. As a Jeffco grad, parent of a Jeffco grad and a public education supporter, this subject is very important to me and you really clarified the many issues currently affecting public education today, here locally as well as nationally. This is such an important conversation that we need to have sooner rather than later, never mind how complicated it is and how many other issues outside of the education system are affecting it. Thanks again for writing this article and publishing it.
Thanks,

Hello,
I wanted to cheer the return of Ridgefest to the new Green on 38th. What a positive, fun family event, filled with music, food, smiles and movement. Walking along the tent areas where generous businesses shared their wares, looking at all the Clear Creek Makerspace items and of course the beer lane. Smiles, art, culture filled the beautiful park that only a couple years ago was a giant lawn and parking spaces. And even longer, Wheat Ridge High School stood proudly and welcomed generations of students as it also later was Wheat Ridge Junior High, followed by Wheat Ridge Middle. A great new spot to relax, enjoy and celebrate the best of Wheat Ridge.

Hello,
I called and talked to Guy some time ago about not getting the Gazette delivered to my house via mail. I’ve gone to the post office twice about this. They told me it is up to the carrier whether or not to deliver them, I can’t ever catch the mailman and when I do it’s a substitute.
I really miss reading the Gazette, and I know I can go to area businesses to pick it up, at times I don’t think about it.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get the Gazette delivered?
Thank you,
Peggy Robb
Hi Peggy,
Thanks for your note. It is truly upsetting that a service for which I pay for every month and is not cheap, is an “option” for the letter carrier to deliver. Thanks for sharing this info. Which post office did you go to?
I will follow up with this but I’m not sure what resolution the post office will give me.
In the meantime I would encourage you to pick up a copy of the Gazette at any of our 24 drop off places around town including; Rec Center, Clancy’s, Stylus and Crate, WR Lanes and more.…
Thanks again for reaching out,
Guy, Publisher/Owner, Neighborhood Gazette
