A Unique Way to Support Local Business and Youth

The Wheat Ridge Optimist Club has been serving youth in the local community and beyond since it was founded in 1957 and now has one of its biggest fundraisers of the year that combines shopping local and supporting children.

Whether it’s a dinner for two at one of Wheat Ridge’s finest restaurants, or a gift bag or gift card from a local shop, there are dozens of items to bid on for during this year’s auction. Individuals can bid on each item, and all the money goes towards funding programs at the optimist club including:

• More than $10,000 worth of scholarships for students at Wheat Ridge High School

• Blue Santa Toy Drive & Holiday program done in conjunction with the Wheat Ridge Police Department

• Wheat Ridge High School STEM Program

• Autism Rescue Kits for First Responders

• Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY) – A scholarship program that helps students go to Red Rocks Community College giving $4,000 scholarships to 16-20 students.

The auction runs from April 10 to April 19. You can bid on items at www.32auctions.com/WROC2026
