Localworks is excited to host one of this year’s most anticipated community events! Join us and experience Wheat Ridge homes featuring a blend of vintage mid-century charm and modern contemporary style at the Mid-Century and Modern Home Tours.
Discover these hidden gem homes in your community that embody the timeless elegance of the mid-century era while giving you a glimpse of how people live in them today.
The fun doesn’t end there – the After Party will be held at Wolf and Wildflower, 7190 W. 38th Ave., one of Wheat Ridge’s favorite new spots. There will be refreshments, themed decor and time for you to connect with your community!
The After Party will begin at the conclusion of the tours at 4 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. Food will be provided. Whether you are seeking inspiration for your own home, just adore mid-mod decor, or are simply intrigued by these designs, you won’t want to miss out on this awesome event.
More Event Information
The 2023 Mid-Century and Modern Home Tours will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The tour itself is self-paced and attendees can expect to see six different homes. If you have never been on a mid-mod home tour before, this is your perfect opportunity – come along with us!
This self-paced, fun event may be your perfect introduction to the buzz around mid-century and modern architecture. Participants in the tour go at their own pace and you can choose the route that best suits you! This year’s map will also include special drive-by locations and bonus information about many gorgeous mid-mod buildings throughout the Wheat Ridge community.
Ticket pricing is as follows: $30 for early bird tickets (available until July 15), $35 for regular priced tickets and $40 VIP tickets. The VIP tickets include a drink token for the after party. All tickets include your admittance to the After Party at Wolf and Wildflower.
Homes are announced the day of the event. You can pre-purchase tickets now by going to wearelocalworks.org/events and clicking on August 19th on the calendar. The link to tickets can also be found on our Facebook page under the events tab, or on Instagram in our bio.
Not a fan of buying tickets online? No problem! Tickets will be available for in-person purchase on the day of the event at Wheat Ridge Lutheran Church (8600 W. 39th Ave.) beginning at 10 a.m. Those that pre-purchase tickets will still need to come to this location to receive the map, as well as other event elements happening here. Ticket purchases and map pick up will close at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Are you interested in volunteering for the tour? Localworks is seeking volunteers who will receive a free ticket to the event. Volunteers can expect to help greet participants at the homes, help with wayfinding, assist with ticket pick up and more. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to learn more, please email reception@wearelocalworks.org.
