Lutheran’s medical staff held their annual awards dinner at the Buffalo Rose in Golden on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Each year, physicians and some of their retired colleagues gather to celebrate and honor those they work with on a daily basis for their contributions to the health and wellbeing of the community.
This year, the celebration included recognition of three people who served in unique roles during the transition from the legacy campus to the new Lutheran Hospital.
Casey Bogenschutz, Director of Strategic Initiatives, was honored for her work in leading the transition over the past two years.
Dr. Toni Green-Cheatwood, Associate Chief Medical Officer, Peaks Region, was thanked for her service in stepping in as the Chief Medical Officer at Lutheran this past year.
Dr. Scott Miner, Emergency Department Medical Director, was honored with a Collaborative Practice Award.
The Lutheran Hospital Physician of the Year was awarded to Dr. Beata Wyatt, hospitalist.
The Lutheran Hospital Advanced Practice Provider of the year was Anne-Marie Erickson, PA, hospice and palliative care.
Lutheran Hospital’s Nurse of the Year is Jane Newman, RN, BSN, ICU.
Congratulations to those honored for 2024 and thank you to all our physicians for the care and compassion they exhibit every day.
