The Wheat Ridge Environmental Sustainability Committee (WRESC) is looking forward to a more sustainable 2018, and is continuing to meet on a bi-weekly basis at the City of Wheat Ridge Municipal Building to formulate their action plan to be presented to city council later this year.
WRESC will be making a brief presentation to council on Feb. 5 to provide updates on progress made to this point and to introduce themselves to newly elected council member Leah Dozeman and mayor Bud Starker.
Currently, the committee is working on wrapping up topic areas of solid waste and recycling, and water. The next topics will be transportation and energy efficiency.
